As we all remember, Halo 1 and 2 were awesome, yet Halo 3 and Halo
Wars both sucked. Then ODST came out and well. It was alright,
it actually gave us that "halo" atmosphere we'd been dying for.
So, if they follow this pattern, Halo Reach ought to be as good as Halo 2 was.
But, granted, this is Microsoft we're talking about, so don't hold your breath.
Now, for those who never enjoyed a game of JA or JA2, you need to go onto Google and educate yourself. Hopes are high for this one. Screenshots have shown that it is very similar to Silent Storm, which was also a good game until those damn robots came onto the scene. Personally, I'm looking forward to this one. Tactical RPG games can be quite addictive, and if Jagged Alliance can miraculously follow it's success rating (because Jagged Alliance 2 was most definitely better than the original) then we may have a hall of fame game here.
That's right, the long awaited sequel to the awesome game of Diablo 3, which was hinted to come out this year
, has been delayed once more. According to their website, the release will take as long as it needs to achieve perfection. Given how good Diablo 2 was and how incredibly immersive the original Diablo
was, Diablo 3 sure has a lot of potential to ruin Blizzard's reputation. Whilst the release date of 2010 was never official, it is hard to imagine that there are some die hard fans out there who
are disappointed (to say the least) about the delays.
It's been coming for a long time, and now it's finally here, today! HOORAY! I, Maddy Catha, have never actually given Starcraft the attention it probably deserves, but it is a gaming icon and deserves to be mentioned. Once again, we find a game with a high expectation to live up to. Given that Warcraft II and III were actually good (for sequels) and Diablo II was also good (sequel or not), Starcraft II may be win.
I don't know or care, to be very honest. Starcraft isn't a language I'm familiar with, but congratulations to you Korean wannabes anyway.
