Hey guys. No more rants. Rants are immature. From this point in, we're not ranters writing rants, we're critics writing reviews. About games. If you were a fan (HA!) of what we were before, well you can enjoy the changes or go to hell, I guess. If you were not a fan (like many) of what we were before, and you think that this all stinks of nerdy overtones, well the joke's on you, because whilst this may not be a ranter's website anymore, I'm still an asshole and complaints will still be met with snide comments and derisive laughter you can't hear. Oh, and in response to the internet filter: no, it's not being taken down, but Kevin Rudd got the sack (though it wasn't us citizens who were responsible but rather his own loyal crew) and there are ISPs flat out refusing to implement the filter. Way to go, guys. TPG, Internode, please do not give in to their demands. We don't need this technological, societal and intellectual step backwards. We don't need blanket punishments that affect innocent and guilty alike for a small group of people. Education and supervision are the best methods of protection for the children, and this filter offers neither.
Some interesting facts:
-Human rights act of 1948 as implemented by the UN dictate that every person has the right to free speech. Australia does not have free speech anywhere in it's legislation or constitution, ergo it is not a right of this country. source
-Australia is quickly becoming known as a nanny state.
-The current Prime Minister was not the person whom people elected to lead the country (google it and PICK a source if you don't believe me)
-The proposed filter would (as genius senator Stephen Conroy said) would (in regards to youtube) slow down the internet.

Yes, I still give a shit about the filter. Yes, it still pisses me off. And I have a plan. Without posting child pornography or beastiality (the two biggest no nos I can think of), I am going to get this website banned from Australian internet. Then, when it's banned, I'll update it from Australia just to prove what a waste of time, money and freedom this filter is.
