It’s about religious people. And besides that, that was on my site, and this is on Maddy’s. Anyway, this rant is about the religious dumbasses who force their kids to follow their religion.
Now, I have no problem with controlling your children. In fact, I encourage it wholeheartedly. You can tell them what to do, how to act, even what to say, but you cannot tell them what to believe. If your child wants to believe that Michael Jackson is a good singer and that Allah is god, then they can believe that. You can’t just say ‘No, you worship god. He is your eternal saviour. Now come to church with us. Also Michael Jackson sucks’.
Around the corner from me lives a couple who have two children, one who’s 9 and one who’s 13. These parents have literally brainwashed their children. These children will never grow up to be normal people. They have been ruined. Among the beliefs that I have heard from these kids are such jewels as ‘ Wearing camouflage is evil because it promotes war’, ‘If you say “Damn it” God will cry.’, ‘Wearing black is evil.’, and, my personal favourite, ‘Loud music has demons in it.’ These children are beyond repair.
If it weren’t for all these religious parents, religion might not be that bad a thing. We wouldn’t have half as many religious fanatics, would mean a lot less religious crimes, which would mean that there might possibly be a chance of the religions being able to exist peacefully. Just kidding. The religions could never exist peacefully. But at least if there weren’t so many people so insistent on raising their kids to be ‘Good little Christian boys and girls’ we might have some normal people.
It’s people like this that end up becoming Scientologists.
