Well. This just goes to prove a point, that not everyone is cut out for the kitchen. Myself? I worked as a chef since 14, well, pot washing at first but by 17, I was placing in competitions. Its not hard to keep up pace, providing you set yourself the right pace...Just people need to realize it takes 20mins to cook food. At home, you wouldn't expect a meal in 20mins, fuck, at home you'd probably microwave some meal and think you were god's gift for creating it, without it burning. Fuck it, this was originally an article slating Maddy for his inability to cook at speed, and constant whining about himself, and secret obsession with MCR thus making everyone around think 'Emo', (Bitch bitch bitch, just because I criticized your articles, eh Richy? - Maddy.) but why not have a stab at all you pointless fuckheads that bow down to the consumerist flag as well?
So. Evidence. I began my work in a store. Seeing that has truly turned my fucking stomach. I go into work most days high now, to blot out the constant questions I have for how they get away with shit, the constant brain-washing they do. I'm not paranoid, or living in fear, fuck no, I'm on the inside.....And all I see is you guys....acting like sheep. This is what gets me....You all know it, you go into a store, and there's some tag on the item saying "Buy two, get 1 free". What do you do? YOU BUY IT. You should be fucking ashamed of yourself. I see people buying these things because they have a big sticker on them, not because they want something, not because they fucking need it! Shit, they don't even normally buy the stuff, they just are because a big bright sticker says so. How sad is that?! Buying because of fucking colour association? They make these tests on mice...Fuck, even goldfish, to see if they respond the same to colours over a prolonged period of time....And you're the fucking same! Why is everyone so hellbent on getting things for free, or half their original price? "Ooh look, Ted, cat food is half price!" "Jenny, we don't own a cat....." "We'll buy one! Especially at these low low prices!" ....Okay, that was an extreme example. Want a realistic one?
Every month, a leaflet is issued. In said leaflet, is a guide to offers. We, unfortunately, have to learn these products. On one particular day, a woman walks in, takes a shopping cart, and proceeds to buy everything in the leaflet. Nothing more...Just all the cheap stuff on offer.
Are you seriously fucking telling me that this stupid whore thought for herself on this one? Okay, sure...She made the conscious decision to get to the store...But doesn't this just prove my point of how little thought we put into our day? How fucking influenced we have become in our lives? We don't really have to think for ourselves, our path is already clearly mapped out....As far as shopping, Advertising and Marketing has us covered on that, secretly telling us what to buy then making it seem like it was our own idea...Our work has been sufficiently doctored so we work as mindless clones.....(oh, that's paranoid ranting? Ever heard the expression "The customer is always right?...Yeah, thought you had.) The world is supposed to be advancing. We're in the fucking 21st Century! And yet we're still using things from the Dark Ages! Look at your management...Its still structured like the Feudal system....You do something that your manager doesn't like...however small it may be...and he/she can punish you as THEY deem fit, not according to the severity of your actions...Should this type of behavior be allowed?
Another example: I was moving a pallet truck through work, loaded with flour. This truck now weighs at least a ton. I need to get to a decent speed to make it move. Stopping, is obviously an issue. Do people now look at this huge thing that is bigger and wider than them, (Not unlike Oprah) and think..."Oh, perhaps I should get out of the way here?" No. Do they fuck. They firmly believe they are in the right, and that twatface here has to move, because they have to get on with getting their special; offers and BRIGHT FUCKING COLOURED STICKERS. Im not lying. This week, by putting an item of food we bake on promotion, it will triple the sales. You want better facts? Fuck yourself.
In closing...Its all about power. A constant struggle for power that allows for more money, which allows the fueling of the consumeristic machine. We're all slaves to the system...We're all slowly losing the ability to think for ourselves in every day tasks. We have rules for freedom. RULES TO BE FREE! Roflmaopmsl.
